Build an Alphabet Display
Display the 26 posters on a word wall, bulletin board, literacy area, or another easy-to-see classroom space.
Introduce one poster at a time. Point to the uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and picture as students become familiar with each letter.
Give Students a Personal Reference
Print the one-page student reference sheet for folders, desks, or homework.
Students can look at the alphabet while working instead of relying only on the classroom display.
Choose the Format That Fits
Use the half-size posters for smaller spaces, centers, or binders. Choose the black-and-white version when you want an ink-saving option.
Use the editable PowerPoint when you want to type your own words on the posters. The PowerPoint can also be opened in Google Slides.
Adaptations
- Use the half-size posters when wall or bulletin-board space is limited
- Give individual students the one-page reference sheet for closer visual support
- Use the black-and-white version when color printing is not practical
- Type your own words in the editable PowerPoint to match classroom or home vocabulary
