Classroom Timer

Put a big, calm countdown on your board: pick a time, press Start, and the ring empties as time passes. It turns gold near the end and coral at the very end, with a gentle chime.

5:00

Quick times

Tip: press the space bar to start and pause.

Ways to use a visual timer

  • Transitions: "When the ring is empty, we line up." Children see how much time is left.
  • Centers and stations: 10 or 15 minutes per rotation.
  • Clean-up and quiet reading: 3 or 5 minutes with a calm chime instead of a loud alarm.
  • Brain breaks and turn-taking: 1 or 2 minutes.

The timer keeps correct time even if you switch to another tab. Nothing is installed and nothing is sent anywhere.
