Materials and preparation

  • Scissors for memory cards, letter flags, and other cut-apart activities

Choose the US Letter or A4 file and print the pages you want to use. For cut-apart activities such as memory cards or name-banner letter flags, cut the pieces before the lesson or have students cut them when appropriate.

Introduce the Nature Theme

Begin with selected coloring pages to introduce the animals, plants, river features, salmon stages, and observation tools. Students can look closely at each picture while learning or reviewing its name.
